Vote Checker is a site dedicated to conducting crowd-sourced research into election integrity concerns that are expressed by candidates and other researchers in this emerging national movement for honesty in the way elections are conducted. Without such accountability and transparency, the government loses legitimacy or the consent of the governed.

This site was launched by the North Carolina-based Voter Integrity Project, but other states contributing to this research hub include California’s Election Integrity Project, Ohio’s Voter Integrity Project, the Virginia’s Voter Alliance and other less established election research groups in Florida, New Hampshire, Maryland, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and beyond. (Please contact us if your state has similar efforts underway.)

Together, “we the people” can use the communication tools of the 21st century to collaborate on making our system more resilient to fraud and abuse, which is the cancer that destroys nations.
